Northbound and southbound US 41 is closed south of Chassell at the Sturgeon River Bridge in Houghton County due to a traffic crash.

Southbound traffic is being detoured on the Pelkie Tapiola Road to M 38. Northbound traffic is being detoured along M 38 to the Pelkie Tapiola Road or M 26. Truck traffic is advised to use M 38 and M 26.
